Description

The Winchester Beacon is seeking a compassionate and reliable Project Worker to help create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for residents, volunteers and visitors during evenings and weekends. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support the smooth running of the service while promoting wellbeing, inclusion and independence.

Using a person-centred and trauma-informed approach, you will build positive relationships with residents, encourage engagement in activities and support individuals to achieve their personal goals. You will help maintain a respectful and inclusive community environment, respond sensitively to individual needs and contribute to the overall safety and wellbeing of the service.

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who is committed to empowering others, works well within a team and is passionate about making a positive difference within a community setting.

This role involves evening, night and weekend work with payment for waking and non-waking hours.
