Project Coordinator
We are looking for a Project Manager to join the National Theatre Estates Capital Projects Team.
This role will assist the Estates Capital Projects team in co-ordinating the planning and on-site delivery of Estates capital and infrastructure projects for the National Theatre, whilst ensuring that the projects have minimal impact on day-to-day operations. Projects may include, but are not restricted to, construction, infrastructure, fit out, decant and associated on-site and company logistics.
Please note that this role works on construction projects within the National Theatre’s estate. The role will involve some hands on, practical tasks, alongside the organising of logistics and more project-based work.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience of capital projects, or equivalent project experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and clearly via written emails and in person with all levels in a professional and friendly manner.
- A highly motivated individual who has the ability to work on their own initiative and effectively with individuals and as part of a team.
- Good planning and methodical approach and the ability to manage a workload with varying deadlines and keeping projects on track.
- An appetite and aptitude to absorb and understand complex concepts.
If that sounds like you, this may be the role for you!

We want to understand each candidates skills, experience, and perspectives, so we encourage you to complete your application using your own words. While generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be a useful tool for exploring ideas or structuring responses, applications that rely heavily on AI-generated content can appear generic and make it difficult for us to assess your individual experience.
If you choose to use AI during the application process, please use it only as a tool to help draft and structure your ideas, check your spelling and grammar, and guide your writing, while ensuring the personal experiences are entirely your own words. Responses that do not demonstrate your own voice may affect how your application is assessed and could result in it not being progressed.
