This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (5-8 days per month in the London office, with mandatory attendance on Thursdays), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

About the role

At a time of great opportunity for Which?, with a new 2030 vision and strategy, this is an important role in ensuring our Product Design function can deliver at pace for our customers.

This role will help shape the delivery of new experiences across one of our product squads, enabling us to level-up our product offering to improve customer acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities include

You'll be responsible for creating evidence-based, easy-to-use, accessible, and elegant design solutions that solve customer problems, support organisational objectives, and reinforce the Which? brand proposition. You'll work together with fellow squad co-leads in planning, making decisions and shaping the direction of the Squad you're in.

About you

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating experience across the full product life-cycle – including early concepts & prototypes through to production-ready designs, across multiple devices.
  • Demonstrable working experience as a Product or UX designer
  • Solid experience in utilising user-centred design methodologies, user research, data and insight to influence product design direction
  • The ability to present confidently and eloquently explain design decisions to stakeholders and peers alike

The interview process for this role involves

  1. First interview – circa 30 minute conversation with the hiring manager
  2. Candidates who pass the first stage will have a second interview with the hiring manager and two other colleagues across the product, design and technology team. At this interview there will be a presentation.
