Procurement Apprentice
We are looking for our first Procurement Apprentice to join our Decarbonisation Framework Team. If you are a hard-working individual with good attention to detail, this could be the role for you!
Fusion21 work with public sector organisations to help them to procure efficiently and meaningfully. Our team of procurement and social value specialists are driven by a passion to make a difference. As an apprentice, you’ll get hands-on experience in real procurement projects, working alongside experienced specialists and making a difference in public sector work.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the team with
framework and procurement activities -
Help
monitor deadlines and ensure tasks are completed on time -
Learn to
apply procurement rules and procedurescorrectly -
Assist in
researching suppliers and gathering informationfor projects -
Take part in
meetings and discussions, recording notes and actions -
Contribute to
team projectsand support colleagues where needed -
Ask questions and
learn from experienced procurement professionals -
Regularly meet with Line Manager to agree work objectives and provide updates on progress

Must be able to complete a Level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant qualification over 16 months, starting in September 2026

Qualifications required:
Apprentices on Level 3, follow the CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate over 16 months. There are no formal entry requirements, but we’d expect learners to have a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE equivalent) or to be willing to work towards this. An ideal candidate would be either educated post 16 such as A Levels or Level 2 or 3 college course or have a couple of year’s work experience. We require the candidate to be over 18 years of age.
