Are you a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with a passion for education and palliative care? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Practice Development Team on a part-time basis at Willen Hospice, the leading provider of specialist palliative care in the Milton Keynes area.
This unique and rewarding role is perfect for a qualified health professional looking to develop their career in education, clinical quality, and service improvement—while maintaining hands-on clinical practice.
What you’ll do:
✅ Deliver and support high-quality, evidence-based education and training across clinical teams.
✅ Work alongside staff in clinical environments to assess practice and maintain care standards.
✅ Provide face-to-face clinical care to patients and their families.
✅ Drive compliance, safety, and sustainability initiatives
✅ Support clinical projects and quality improvement initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Is a qualified RN or AHP with current registration and practical clinical experience.
• Has a strong interest in palliative and end-of-life care.
• Has effective organisational and communication skills.
• Confident in engaging with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
• Has a desire to develop and deliver teaching and education delivery skills with
confidence
• Has knowledge of audit processes and evidence-based practice is desirable.
