Postgraduate Telephone Call Campaigns - Student Ambassador Summer 2026

We are looking for Student Ambassadors to work on our Postgraduate Telephone Call Campaigns.

We would like you to help us by contacting prospective UK postgraduate students that hold an offer to study starting in September. You will be answering general questions they may have and providing some general information before starting their postgraduate degree at Cardiff University. This will involve contacting them by telephone. Training will be provided.

The work will be between 4-8 hours per week depending on the number of offer holders to contact for your allocated area/s.

Shifts will take place in person at Sbarc | Spark, Maindy Road. 

Exact shift times and days for the campaign to be confirmed, but dates and times will likely be as follows:

• Training held on either Monday 13 July or Tuesday 14 July
• Shifts starting week commencing 20 July
• Shifts to take place on Monday and Tuesday each week, 3pm – 7pm
• Campaign to end late July to early August

 Skills and experience required for this role:

• You must be a current postgraduate student at Cardiff University (as you will need to be able to speak about your experience as a postgraduate student to prospective applicants)
• Good telephone manner
• Enthusiasm for Cardiff University and the wider city of Cardiff
• Good knowledge of your course, department and the wider environment at Cardiff University
