The role
You will provide administration support to our Medical Director in the discharge of their day to day clinical and managerial duties. You will support the clinical governance processes of the hospital such as flow of data from ward to board and board to ward.
You will provide senior administration support with the co-ordination of clinical governance processes in the hospital in addition to allowing the smooth flow of communication and embedding of processes of quality improvement, co-ordinated care.
You will manage the diary and organise meetings ensuring all supporting arrangements are covered, whilst providing support for meetings, including preparation and distribution of agendas, attending the meetings to take notes and actions and transcription, circulation and follow up.
You will also support the wider co-ordination of clinical and medical teams such as assisting with whereabouts, and work with other administrative support to co-ordinate doctors leave, and ensuring a process of reminders of Approved Clinician reviews etc.
Your profile
- You will have experience in a similar role within a similar setting.
- You will have strong all-round administration and organisational skills
- You will have a proven ability to produce high quality, professional documents, with intermediate/ advanced keyboard skills. You need an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate level Word & Outlook) and be able to understand financial and statistical information. You will have previous experience in and be confident with taking and transcribing minutes of meetings.
