Join a movement that inspires positive change

At Eden, we're more than a visitor destination. We're a global organisation and educational charity driven by the belief that people and nature thrive when connected. Through our iconic Biomes, transformative projects, community programmes and partnerships, we inspire millions of people to understand their relationship with the natural world and take positive action for the future.

Everything we do is rooted in the idea that together we can create a better future for people and the planet. To achieve that ambition, we need talented people who share our values, bring fresh thinking and help create an engaging, inclusive and high-performing environment where everyone can do their best work.

We're looking for an experienced People Manager to join our People and Culture Team and play a key role in shaping the employee experience across Eden. This is an opportunity to influence culture, support inspiring leaders and make a meaningful contribution to an organisation with a mission that matters.

About the role

At Eden, our mission is to demonstrate and inspire positive action for people and the planet. Achieving that mission depends on more than the experiences we create for our visitors and communities. It depends on creating an organisational culture where our people feel able to thrive, collaborate, innovate and bring their best selves to work every day.

As our People Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping and nurturing that culture.

Working across the organisation, you'll help create an environment built on trust, inclusion, wellbeing, accountability and respect. You'll support leaders to build confident, engaged and high-performing teams, encourage positive working relationships and help ensure that our values are reflected in the experiences of our employees, volunteers and managers.

This role is about more than managing people processes. It is about helping to cultivate the conditions in which people can do their best work, feel connected to Eden's purpose and contribute to something bigger than themselves. Your influence will help shape how our people experience Eden, and in turn, how effectively we deliver our mission to inspire positive change in the world.

This is an opportunity to have a genuine impact on organisational culture within one of the UK's most distinctive and purpose-driven organisations.

Why Eden?

We believe that the way we work is as important as what we do. Creating a culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired is fundamental to achieving our mission. As our People Manager, you'll help shape that culture, ensuring Eden remains a place where talented people can grow, contribute and make a meaningful difference for people and the planet.

At Eden, every role contributes to something bigger.

Whether supporting the teams who welcome visitors to our Biomes, deliver educational programmes, create unforgettable experiences or drive projects that inspire environmental and social change, you'll be helping to build an organisation that makes a positive difference in the world.

In return, you'll find:

  • Meaningful work that contributes to a globally recognised organisation with a powerful social and environmental purpose.
  • The opportunity to influence organisational culture and shape the employee experience.
  • A varied and challenging Employee Relations caseload.
  • A collaborative, values-driven working environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • The chance to work alongside passionate colleagues who are committed to making a positive impact for people and the planet.

If you're an experienced HR professional who believes that great people practices can help create extraordinary organisations, and you're excited by the opportunity to support a mission dedicated to inspiring positive action for the planet, we'd love to hear from you. Join us and help shape the future of Eden, one conversation, one team and one person at a time.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 30th August 2026
