The Role
We are seeking an experienced People Administrator to join the Roundhouse People Team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. As the first point of contact for candidates and employees, this is a pivotal role in supporting individuals to be welcomed to the Roundhouse.
Your role will be to provide professional, efficient and accurate support to the People Team as well as our wider Roundhouse colleagues and prospective candidates.
Acting as the first point of contact for all people enquiries either via our inbox or in-person, you’ll resolve queries and escalate where necessary. You’ll manage the administration around the employee lifecycle, including keeping our HRIS systems up to date, working with our payroll team to ensure deadlines are met, drafting letters and contracts and coordinating the new starter onboarding processes.
You’ll be responsible for the administration of our recruitment from start to finish, including checking the format of job descriptions, placing adverts, scheduling interviews, and reviewing recruitment campaigns. This will include management of our recruitment email inbox, responding and actioning queries with the aim of maintaining a positive and welcoming candidate experience.

About you:
In order to be successful in this role, you’ll have:
Previous experience in a comparable role within an HR/People Team
Previous experience in management of team inbox, acting as first point of contact to resolve queries and managing the administration associated with the employee lifecycle
Previous experience in management of end to end recruitment processes
Previous experience of keeping an HRIS accurately up to date (Preferably Bob or StaffSavvy)
Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Strong IT Literacy (preferably using Google suite including sheets, presentations, Drive, etc)
Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of work
Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate calmly and effectively with individuals at varying levels
Proven experience working as part of a team towards shared goals
Organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work to specific time frames

Contract: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week (excluding breaks) with at least 3 days per week on site
Salary: £29,299.46 per annum
