Pentecostal Formation Group Tutor

The postholder will support students academically, pastorally and formationally, with particular responsibility for enabling theological reflection rooted in Pentecostal spirituality and practice.

The role sits within a growing partnership between St Mellitus College and Pentecostal denominations, and will contribute to the development of a distinct Pentecostal pathway within the life of the College. This pathway is being established initially as a pilot and the postholder will play a key role in shaping and refining its development in collaboration with Pentecostal denominational partners under the oversight of the College’s Executive Team.

Job Requirements and Benefits:

• This is a fixed-term role from until 31st July 2028 and is 0.2FTE (1 day per week)
• The employer will be St Paul’s Theological Centre (SPTC), a constituent part of St Mellitus College and part of the HTB Group.
• 25 days holiday per annum (pro rata): please note term times, holidays will usually be granted around these and/or half-terms. The holiday year runs January-December
• The post will be based at our London Centre (SW5 0LX). While the contractual workplace will be at the St Mellitus College teaching centre, the role will involve a combination of onsite and remote working, with regular in-person presence required during term-time.
• Evening and weekend availability and some travel required in order to deliver teaching and formational work with students and attendance at in-person staff gatherings. Such requirements will be communicated in good time in order to enable appropriate arrangements to be put in place as needed.
• There is a four-month probationary period.
