PBS & Autism Support Worker (3595)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Male PBS and Autism Support worker to join our dedicated team in Swansea. In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community – so that they can live good lives.

About our home

We are three adults, two men and one woman, living together in a comfortable four-bedroom home in the Clydach area of Swansea. We enjoy a range of meaningful activities that reflect our individual interests and preferences. Throughout the week, you'll often find us going for walks, swimming, getting creative with arts and crafts, listening to music, or taking part in activities within our local community.

Support plays an important role in helping us maintain our independence and wellbeing. Staff work alongside us to plan our days, attend appointments, and support with personal care in a way that is respectful, person-centred, and tailored to each of us as individuals.

What You'll Do 

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.

• Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.

• Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.

• Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
