Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Payroll Manager to lead and deliver an accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll service within our school.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take full ownership of multiple payrolls, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining the highest standards of compliance with payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
This is a pivotal role requiring deep technical payroll knowledge and a proactive approach to managing complex payroll processes. You will oversee payroll operations, manage a Payroll Officer, and act as the key point of expertise for all payroll-related matters across the organisation.
You will work closely with Finance and HR teams, ensuring payroll data integrity, accurate reporting, and full compliance with HMRC, pension schemes, and employment legislation.
