Contract Type: Freelance / Self-Employed
Pay Rate: £18 to £25 per hour (Depending on experience, knowledge, and skills)

Earls Court Youth Club is a dynamic, award-winning, sector-leading youth club, that serves children and young people aged 6-19 in Kensington and Chelsea.

We are looking to recruit two highly motivated, innovative and experienced part-time Senior Youth Workers to join our dynamic team. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a relevant qualification and at least 5 years of face-to-face delivery experience working with children and young people. Proven experience in managing staff and supporting volunteers is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Session Delivery: Planning, supervising, and leading high-quality, engaging youth club sessions.

Project Planning: Creating clear, structured session plans for daily activities, termly projects, and specialised workshops.

Health & Safety: Writing robust, legally compliant risk assessments for onsite activities, offsite trips, and community excursions.

Staff Development: Supporting, mentoring, and upskilling part-time youth and play workers and volunteers to maintain high delivery standards.

Reporting & Evaluation: Writing comprehensive quarterly reports that clearly demonstrate activities, outcomes, and impact, incorporating quotes and photographic evidence.

Youth Club Culture: Helping to foster and maintain a positive, safe, inclusive, and welcoming youth club environment.

About You

We are looking for individuals who have a strong track record enabling children and young people to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will have proven experience of enabling children and young people to secure high quality educational and employment opportunities, by delivering a high quality and wide ranging programme of enrichment activities. To be successful in this role, you should be approachable, reliable, and possess a strong "can-do" attitude.

You must have a deep understanding of social mobility and the contemporary challenges faced by children, young people, and families in an diverse environment. We need forward-thinking professionals who can follow instructions diligently, take initiative, and consistently role-model the core values and culture of our club.

Available Roles (Please specify which post you are applying for):

Post 1: Senior Youth Worker

Days: Tuesday and Wednesday

Hours: 2:00pm to 9:00pm (Includes a 30-minute paid meal break)

Focus: Supporting and managing both our Junior Club (ages 9–13) and our Senior Club (ages 14–19).

Post 2: Female Senior Youth Worker

Days: Thursday and Friday

Hours: 2:00pm to 9:00pm (Includes a 30-minute paid meal break)

Focus: Supporting and managing our Under 8s Club (ages 6–8), Junior Club (ages 9–13), and Senior Club (ages 14–19).

Note: Friday evening is our dedicated girls-only Senior Club provision. Therefore, this post is open to female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
