Job Summary

Do you have an eye for valuable pre-loved items and a passion for online selling? Do you want to help to turn donated goods into vital funds that support pets and their people.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially aware E-Commerce Assistant to support our growing online retail operation on a part time basis. Working 22.5 hours a week this is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in eBay, Depop, or online marketplaces who enjoys customer service, identifying trends, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Working alongside our E-Commerce Manager, our successful candidate will help to identify donated items suitable for online sale, create engaging listings, whilst ensuring that customers receive an excellent online shopping experience. They will play an important part in maximising income through online sales by researching products, photographing items, managing listings, and dispatching sold goods efficiently.

If you have;

• Experience selling products on eBay or other online platforms
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and online systems
• Experience pricing pre-loved or second-hand goods
• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• An interest in retail trends, branded goods, antiques, or unique items

Experience in charity retail is desirable although not essential.

This is a permanent, part time position working 22.5 hours a week on a two-week rota basis; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday (week 1) and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (week 2). The salary for this position is £15,736.50 per annum (equivalent to £13.45 per hour). This competitive salary is complemented by;

• Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to a maximum of 40 days pro rata after five years
