Vacancy – PA to the Vicar and Churches Administrator

12 hours per week, flexible to fit around the successful candidate’s life and the needs of the churches (£14.50 per hour) plus optional membership of our pension scheme.

The ABC Churches – Askham Bryan, Bolton Percy, Colton and Copmanthorpe are seeking a new member to their staff team. Our friendly, busy churches seek to serve diverse local communities. You will be the public face of the church, ensuring the efficient management of day-to-day administrative tasks. The office is situated at St Giles’ Church in Copmanthorpe, however it will be possible to include some home working for the right candidate.

You should be committed to Christian values and supportive of the mission of the Church of England. Administrative experience, organisational skills, attention to detail, good interpersonal, listening skills, sensitivity and written communication and IT skills are essential for this role. You should also be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your time.
