Here at Bhaktivedanta Manor, New Gokul Farm is looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated Outreach & Retreats Coordinator to join our team.

New Gokul Farm is at the heart of Bhaktivedanta Manor’s vision for cow protection, organic farming, and sustainable spiritual living. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organised, and passionate about sharing the mission of cow protection and Krishna consciousness through vibrant outreach programmes and retreats, while helping to keep some of the farm’s administrative operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outreach Programmes: Plan, coordinate, and facilitate educational farm tours, workshops, and visitor experiences that promote cow protection, organic agriculture, ox-power, and Srila Prabhupada’s vision of “simple living, high thinking.”
  • Farm Retreats: Oversee and manage farm retreats end-to-end, including retreat planning, scheduling, logistics, guest hosting, and coordinating retreat schedules.
  • Preaching & Public Engagement: Lead preaching initiatives, interactive presentations, and guided farm walks for diverse groups, including temple visitors, retreat participants, school groups, and spiritual seekers.
  • Outreach & Retreat Admin: Manage all administrative aspects of farm events, including handling email enquiries, processing retreat bookings and payments, sending confirmation details, and managing guest communications.
  • General Farm Administration: Help with day-to-day administrative support for New Gokul Farm.
  • The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as reasonably necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and overall business objectives as and when required.

Other Duties

  • Attending weekly New Gokul Farm departmental meetings and relevant Manor-wide strategy/congregation meetings.
  • Assisting with major festivals at Bhaktivedanta Manor (e.g., Janmashtami and Diwali) where New Gokul Farm outreach and cow protection are featured.
  • Assisting with updates for New Gokul Farm’s online presence, noticeboards, social media, or newsletters regarding upcoming retreats and outreach events.

Performance Standards for Key Responsibilities

  • Timely handling of all outreach and retreat enquiries (responding within 24–48 hours).
  • Smooth execution of retreats and outreach programmes with high levels of attendee satisfaction.
  • Accurate and up-to-date record-keeping for all bookings, retreat payments, and farm administrative files.
  • Maintaining clear communication, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.

Core Competencies 

  • Deep appreciation for and alignment with ISKCON’s mission, cow protection, and Srila Prabhupada’s teachings on farm communities.
  • Excellent preaching, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to warmly engage diverse groups of people.
  • Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills
  • Hospitable, proactive, and team-orientated approach with experience or willingness to coordinate volunteers.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English
