This is a pivotal role at the heart of the business, combining operational leadership with strategic oversight. You will play a key part in enabling growth, improving processes, and ensuring our teams deliver consistently high standards to clients across Ireland and beyond.

Your role at BRE

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across BRE Ireland, ensuring efficient, coordinated, and compliant service delivery

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and performance

  • Manage certification team activities, ensuring workloads are effectively planned and aligned to priorities

  • Lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, including oversight of P&L performance

  • Manage invoicing, purchase orders, revenue recognition, and supplier payments

  • Monitor operational performance against targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain compliance with certification requirements, quality standards, and regulatory frameworks

  • Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with BRE policies and relevant legislation

  • Coordinate internal and external audits, including accreditation activities and closure of nonconformities

  • Manage certification administration processes, including scope extensions, complaints, and appeals

  • Collaborate with UK teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery across shared activities

  • Represent BRE Ireland in industry forums, accreditation discussions, and stakeholder engagements

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in operational leadership within certification, compliance, quality, or built environment sectors

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational reporting

  • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and P&L management

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), audit processes, and accreditation frameworks (e.g. ISO standards, EOTA, INAB)

  • Experience coordinating internal and external audits and managing nonconformities and corrective actions

  • Knowledge of certification processes, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks

  • Ability to implement and drive operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Experience managing and coordinating teams and workloads to meet business objectives

  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience, including collaboration with internal teams and external bodies

  • Ability to support and enhance customer service delivery through operational improvements

  • Experience working with governance, reporting, and performance tracking processes

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present clear and accurate information to stakeholders and leadership

Work Location Options
