The role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Managers to join our team at BH Live, you will lead the operational delivery of Southampton’s redeveloped Outdoor Sports Centre, ensuring the safe, effective and quality daily day operation of the site.
You will:
· Be accountable for the overall operational performance of the Outdoor Sports Centre, ensuring safe, compliant and effective delivery across all operational areas.
· Lead, manage and support operational teams to ensure effective daily delivery across all facilities and activities.
· Ensure consistently high standards of customer experience, presentation, cleanliness, operational readiness and site safety are maintained across the venue, proactively managing standards relating to team performance and customer service delivery
· Manage operational team members, rotas, recruitment, induction, training and performance management processes independently.
To be successful you will need:
· Experience managing operational teams within a leisure, sports, hospitality or customer service environment with high standards of service delivery.
· Experience managing staffing rotas, recruitment and employee performance.
· Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
· The ability to build positive working relationships with customers, clubs, partners, contractors and stakeholders
