Occupational Therapist
Across our charity we are lucky enough to have a multidisciplinary therapy team that work collaboratively to support children and adults with autism through a holistic, person-centered approach.
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team, delivering innovative, evidence-based occupational therapy within a Positive Behaviour Model to support children aged 4 - 19 in school and adults in the community to thrive. This position would be ideally working 52 weeks a year however for the right applicant we could consider term time.
A day in the life of Occupational Therapy will include:
- Collaborating with our OT team, education staff and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated therapeutic support.
- Assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing tailored interventions that make a meaningful difference.
- Promoting best practice through training, mentoring and staff coaching.
- Contributing to reviews and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure a person centered approach.
- Maintaining accurate, professional case notes and reports
- Playing an active role in developing and enhancing the OT service
