NYDC Engagement Manager
Job description
Are you passionate about working with and supporting young people in an inclusive dance setting?
The National Youth Dance Company (NYDC) Engagement Manager (maternity cover) will have day to day responsibility for the delivery and development of NYDC engagement projects and programmes across the country including, the national workshops and company recruitment, summer schools, the Nationwide Schools Programme, Alumni activity and workshop training, and NYDC partnership projects.
The aim of the role is to meaningfully reach as many young people as possible from across the country, sharing the NYDC experience with young people from all backgrounds nationwide, as well as maintaining and building relationships with a range of key partners.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of successful project and programme management in youth arts, from planning to delivery to evaluation
- Experience of working with a range of people from young people to parents, to artists, to funders and partners and other colleagues.
- Willingness to work away from home on NYDC projects
