Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services – and it’s all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.

Make a real difference in your community

Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier, more independent lives? Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced National Lead for Service Development to help shape and deliver innovative, high-quality services across our organisation.

  • Deliver training, coaching and reflective practice to build capability

  • Work collaboratively with people who use our services, incorporating lived experience into service design

About you

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience of delivering change or implementation projects across complex services

  • Strong knowledge of drugs & alcohol, mental health, or related sectors

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills

  • The ability to analyse data and translate insight into meaningful action

  • Confidence working independently while managing a national workload

  • A passion for improving outcomes for people who use services
