Cambridge Jazz Choir is an inclusive community choir that sings jazzy, soulful and groovy music, celebrating the power of music to unite people from all walks of life. We strive for musical success that is not about perfection, but about discovering what is possible together in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
• Experience of leading choirs in a positive, engaging way
• Strong musical skills, including arranging for SATB and choosing inspiring repertoire
• Confidence teaching and leading music by ear
• Ability to accompany the choir
• A supportive, inclusive style that brings out the best in singers of all abilities and makes rehearsals enjoyable
