BFI are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator.
Fixed Term Contract, supporting the BFI’s UK‑wide campaigns across cinema, DVD/Blu‑ray, digital releases, major film seasons and Sight & Sound.
What you’ll do
- Work on the BFI’s marketing team in the planning and delivery of UK-wide marketing campaigns, in particular cinema releases, DVD/Blu-ray/Digital releases, ‘Blockbuster’ film seasons and Sight & Sound magazine
- Write copy, build and publish for BFI’s social media posts and emails using Basecamp and Braze management tools
- Brief marketing assets to external and internal designers / agencies. Provide copywriting and proofing skills, and ensure assets are approved by external and internal stakeholders
- Perform design (using Photoshop) and video editing (using Final Cut Pro) tasks as required
- Lead on selected marketing campaigns (under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Advisor). Occasionally cover for the Marketing Advisor when they are absent
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable professional experience of working in the marketing, communications or press/PR sector – preferably in film, arts or culture
- Experience of digital marketing with a strong awareness of social media platforms and email.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels both verbally and written Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
- Experience of Photoshop and Final Cut Pro (or other editing tools).
- Ability to take ownership, make proactive decisions and drive forward work independently
