The role

As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in orchestrating and implementing engaging campaigns that amplify the brand and reach our target customers. Your role will be a blend of meticulous campaign planning, execution, and evaluation to ensure optimised performance across various channels. By fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, channel owners, and supported channels, you will contribute significantly to amplifying CIPD’s message and enhancing its market presence.

You will also play a key role in the marketing activity for the CIPD events. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help drive audience engagement, maximise attendance, and ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience across all event touchpoints.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Meticulous planning of top funnel campaigns ensuring alignment with CIPD’s brand objectives and customer engagement goals.
  • Supporting in evolving the campaign planning process, ensuring an ‘always-on’ approach that aligns with brand, thought leadership, and customer lifecycle and that integrates our products and services.
  • Developing compelling campaigns and timelines in collaboration with channel owners and marcomms colleagues in market to build singular creative and copywriting briefs.
  • Taking the helm in implementing campaigns across owned and supported channels ensuring seamless execution and consistency in messaging.
  • Coordinating with channel owners - Press and PR, Digital platforms, social media, SMS, Events and Sponsorship, Senior Marketing and other teams for synchronised campaign roll-out and localisation, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Working closely with supporting stakeholders to ensure consistent campaign messaging and execution across all communications.
  • Evaluating channel and campaign performance based on reports and dashboards from the Analytics and Performance activity. Recommending and implementing optimisation strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and channel partners to extend campaign reach and impact.

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Relevant experience in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Significant experience in campaign management, multi-channel marketing, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven track record of managing successful campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency in using marketing automation tools and performance analytics platforms.
  • Excellent blend of strategic and tactical marketing nous, with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture but also dive into the detail and get things done.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate campaign performance and suggest optimisations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
