The role
As the Campaigns Lead at the CIPD, you'll be in charge of planning and directing our marketing communication campaigns. You'll lead and inspire a team of Campaign Managers to create impactful campaigns and compelling stories that deliver our business needs and KPIs. Your strategic insight and understanding of marketing will help boost the CIPD's profile, impact and revenue growth, creating a brand narrative that connects with people.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing, implementing and continually refining campaign strategies to align with the CIPD’s brand objectives, corporate KPIs, customer engagement goals and business growth.
- Evolving the campaign planning process to ensure a consistent approach.
- Overseeing the implementation of marketing campaigns for consistency and impact with focus on customer experience. Ensuring the campaigns plans are optimised for the audience and market they will be deployed.
- Monitoring performance targets to ensure we optimise campaigns to achieve goals.
- Working in partnership with the research and insights team to develop campaigns that can be deployed in an agile way based on insight and business need.
- Ensuring clear communication of strategic objectives, expectations, and progress metrics across the team as well as promoting collaboration with channel leads to optimise channel usage to campaign goals.
- Analysing campaign performance and identify areas for improvement using data to measure effectiveness of marketing initiatives against KPIs.
- Engaging with stakeholders and partners to ensure aligned and integrated marketing communications campaigns.
- Managing campaign budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Overseeing the management of external vendors and partners to support campaigns and maintain quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, tech and best practices in campaign management.
- Fostering a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new approaches to enhance CIPD’s digital presence and engagement.
Knowledge, qualifications and experience
- Degree in Marketing Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in channel optimised marketing campaign management to support growth, engagement and change.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing automation and content management tools.
- Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team towards achieving common goals and adhering to high standards of quality.
- Experience creating high-performing teams, fostering collaborative approach and innovation.

Finance Administrator and PA
12 months fixed-term contract
Part-time (28 hours per week / 4 days per week)

The role
As a Finance Administrator and PA, you provide a full secretarial and administrative service to the Finance Director along with broader admin support for the directorate (including event planning and planning meetings to help manage team objectives) as required.
Key accountabilities
- Planning and arranging a busy schedule of internal and external meetings and away/collab days to agreed timescales for the finance department and FD. Prior to the meetings, prepare and distribute agendas and supporting documentation, book venues, set up conference call dial-in arrangements, arrange refreshments etc. and provide additional administrative support as required
- Chasing and processing invoices related to the finance team, ensuring accurate coding and authorisations
- Supporting the teams in the coordination and distribution of appropriate meeting papers and actions, and quarterly CIPD Board and Audit Committee papers, liaising with the CEO, other Directors and Company Secretary regarding submissions and accurate version control
- Support with various administrative tasks across the departments
- Supporting team members with the audit process
- Overseeing the administrative side of any commercial contractual negotiations and partnering arrangements
- Processing purchase and sales invoices, expenses, and credit notes related to the finance directorate in a timely manner
- Assisting with preparation of powerpoints related to month-end and year-end reporting
- Help with maintaining financial systems, databases, and filing records
- Meeting planning for key partners including note taking, actions and follow ups
Knowledge, qualifications and experience
- Team admin and/or PA experience
- Previous experience supporting the Finance Director and wider finance team a in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Board or executive, understanding priorities and preparing presentations
- Experience of Asana or other task management tool
- Highly organised and methodical
- Collaborative and able to work effectively with people across the team and business from Exec level to administrators

Digital Project Manager

The role
As a Digital Project Manager, you will be working closely with the Head of Digital & Technology and the IT Project Portfolio Manager, and you will be responsible for managing the development and timely release of new CIPD systems and solutions.
This role involves a significant degree of business analysis and project management at a high level of expertise. You’ll be managing various projects, such as delivering software implementations, web-based development, implementation and improvement projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Consulting with key business stakeholders to elicit solution requirements and produce specifications that can be used to define project deliverables.
- Operating in a professional project management context, adapting proven project approaches to achieve quality deliverables, as appropriate.
- Closely collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external resources throughout project life cycles, gaining an understanding of business problems, defining solutions and designing appropriate approaches to achieving quality project deliverables.
- Effectively translating user requirements and business cases into functional specifications and developing project plans using PRINCE2 and/or Agile approaches.

The role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to play a key role in a large-scale transformation program aimed at replacing our core platform and its integrations. This involves migrating critical functionality into systems such as Salesforce, MDM, and other internal applications. You’ll be working within a fast-paced Agile environment with multiple parallel workstreams, and you will effectively manage testing activities across squads, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and ensure comprehensive end-to-end test coverage across complex data pipelines and integrated systems.
What you’ll be doing
- Analysing business and technical requirements to design and execute comprehensive test cases.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, development teams and stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project timelines and requirements.

The role
As a Solution Designer, you will translate business requirements and design effective digital solutions as part of a wider team. You will be working alongside another solution designer and other digital professionals, and you will contribute towards delivering the Digital Transformation ensuring that technical designs are in keeping with the CIPD’s business strategy, IT principles and strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Working alongside the Head of Technology and Solution Designer to design, develop and implement the core building blocks of the high-level architecture.
- Working within projects to ensure solutions align to the overall strategy, comply to organisations Enterprise Architecture, IT design and development standards.
- Providing technical design input for new digital programmes, projects and workstreams for contributing to the selection, evaluation and discovery phase of new software implementation projects.

The role
As a Solution Designer, you will translate business requirements and design effective digital solutions as part of a wider team. The role
As a student administrator, you will be part of our customer services student administration team and you will provide a comprehensive and effective administration service to set standards and within agreed timescales. - Exporting student results from our Centre portal and following CIPDs result verification and checking processes, to ensure results are accurate.
- Uploading verified student results to CIPD’s database for certification.

The role
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll represent CIPD to our customers, providing a consistently high standard of customer service, gaining new customers, engaging with, retaining and building long term relationships with existing customers.

- Providing advice and solutions in response to customer enquiries, matching and promoting CIPD products and services to meet customer needs and maximise conversions.

- Carrying out a range of general administration activities including generation of customer letters to support customer enquiries and achieve service levels.
- Attending off site and evening events including customer open evenings, and trade shows / exhibitions to provide face to face advice and to secure conversions.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Evidence of sound customer service skills.
- Excellent telephone call handling skills including questioning, probing, listening, establishing rapport, matching and closing.
- Outbound telephone call handling skills to also include up-selling and cross selling.
- Ability to learn and understand high volumes of product information.
- Ability to quickly learn how to use internal IT systems in order to log and retrieve customer information.
- Communicates confidently, clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Able to deal confidently with people at all levels and develop positive working relationships with team members and colleagues.
- Good administrative skills.
- Able to understand and implement operational processes and procedures and an ability to cope with change.
