Stephen is a young man who lives with his family in South Ayrshire. Stephen likes to be out and about, going to the cinema, swimming, badminton, pool and going out for lunch. Stephen also loves bagpipe music and attending bag-piping events. Stephen also enjoys rugby and attending rugby matches.
Stephen is looking for a Support Practitioner who:
Shares similar interests
Has excellent communication skills
Is patient and has the ability to remain calm
Is respectful and sensitive in their approach
Is open minded and non judgemental
Has a willingness to learn
Has the ability to work on a 1:1 basis
Has the ability to work to a routine and structure
Is chatty with a good sense of humour
Stephen requires a Support Practitioner who:
Understands that all behaviour is communication
Has awareness or experience of supporting people with learning disabilities
Has a social care qualification or willingness to work towards this
