This role would work closely with the Filmmaker and Industry Services Manager, Guest Team Lead and the LFF production team, and oversee the successful delivery of high-level, non-gala, guest and screenings operations at BFI London Film Festival.
BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and an informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.
This is a full-time (41 hours per week) role on a Fixed Term Contract (27 July to 6 November 2026).
What you’ll do
- Be the lead guest point of contact for a portfolio of film or series titles outside of the Gala tier with high level talent and/or elevated production values – including liaising with distributors/sales agents/talent agents on talent bookings, ticketing, guest transport and all other communications
- Oversee guest invitation process and arrangements for all films in the festival, with assistance from the Guest Coordinators and Guest Assistants.
- Lead on the Talent List process, working closely with the Press team to ensure that information regarding talent attendance is accurately maintained and reported.
- Maintain an overview of elevated screenings in the festival and communicate regular updates on progress to the Senior Production Manager, Filmmaker, and Industry Services Manager.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable extensive experience in a similar role within a film festival, events or PR agency or related cultural event in a production or guest management capacity.
- Significant experience of dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including high level partners to deliver a project under to a strict timeline and framework.
- Experience working on events with high-level talent and/or senior film industry stakeholders
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to deal with a broad range of individuals and organisations
