Corpus Christi College is seeking to appoint a 4-hour Lecturer in Mathematics, with effect from 1 October 2026. The lectureship will be a fixed-term appointment from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027 in the first instance. The Lecturer will be expected to teach an average of up to 4 hours per week over each term and will be required to teach Prelims Probability, Statistics and Data Analysis, as well as Part A Probability and Statistics. The ability to teach other long and short options, such as Integration, Graph Theory, and Mathematical Biology, would be an advantage. Specific details of the courses are available at https://courses.maths.ox.ac.uk/. The Lecturer will also be expected to set and mark collections (internal termly examinations), write and submit student reports and assist with admissions interviews. This is a teaching-only position, and the Lecturer will not be expected to organise any teaching beyond their own duties or to provide academic oversight and pastoral care for students, which is provided by the two Fellows in Mathematics.

The Lecturer will receive a stipend of between £6,077 and £7,501 depending on experience (uplifted in October) and one free lunch and one free dinner a week whilst the kitchen is open.

Applications should be submitted, by email (in pdf format), to college.office@ccc.ox.ac.uk and should consist of a letter of application to include a description of teaching experience and a curriculum vitae. Applications should be received not later than noon on Wednesday 3 June. Two references will be required. Referees should be asked to write directly, by email, to: college.office@ccc.ox.ac.uk; their references to be received by not later than 3 June.

Interviews will be held on 5 June from noon.

The College is an equal opportunity employer.
