Lead Pastor

Eythorne Baptist Church

Eythorne Baptist Church is a growing independent Bible centred church in East Kent with multiple ministries and mid-week activities.
Our current lead pastor is retiring, and we are seeking to call a new man to take on this role and work with the elder and deacons in the spiritual oversight of the church.
The successful candidate will share our Bible centred convictions and a commitment to expository preaching. They will have proven pastoral leadership.

Required Skills

Essentials

• A mature Christian man committed to God's Word and to growing in godliness
• In full agreement with our Doctrinal basis of faith and church characteristics
• Committed to expository preaching
• Skilled in planning and organisation including ability to communicate clearly with others
• A team player who can relate well to other

Desirables

• Theologically trained
• Experience in the secular workplace
