We are delighted to introduce new services, including Respite, Convalescent Rehabilitation and Symptom Management, reflecting the increasing demand for these much-needed services, including the valued return of Respite Care. In addition, our Wellbeing services will be enhanced to provide a comprehensive programme of activities and therapies, supporting people across all areas of our care.

About the Role
JOB PURPOSE
- To lead and manage all aspects of the Housekeeping Service’s at Saint Catherines Hospice over a 7-day period, ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standards for our patients, families, visitors, and staff.
- To continually monitor and maintain cleanliness in line with infection prevention and control legislation.
- To ensure housekeeping services are provided to meet the needs of our non-patient areas and education centre.
- The role should be split 60/40, sixty percent of time allocated to housekeeping tasks and forty percent leading the service and providing line management support. This includes setting cleaning schedules, allocating work and ensuring this is completed to the highest standard, undertaking team meetings, supervision and appraisals.
- You will use IT systems to create and monitor the staffing rota, undertake audits, create action plans, and implement new ways of working in line with the NHS cleaning standard.
- You will provide a key focus in supporting and developing the housekeeping services for current and new hospice projects whilst engaging with businesses who may locate here in the future who require housekeeping services, to help grow our revenue.

- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
