What You’ll Be DoingAs a Kitchen Porter, you’ll support our chefs and front-of-house team to ensure everything operates seamlessly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
- Washing crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
- Supporting food preparation (e.g. salads, sandwiches, vegetables)
- Assisting with stock control, deliveries, and correct storage of supplies.
- Ensuring waste is managed safely and efficiently
- Helping maintain beverage stations and supporting front-of-house when needed.
- Carrying out daily checks and reporting any faults or issues promptly
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoys being part of a team.
Essential:- A positive, polite and friendly attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisation skills
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Level 2 Food Safety (or willingness to work towards)
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a catering/restaurant setting
- Customer service or front-of-house experience
- Basic IT experience
Contract:£9,929.40 pro-rata per annum (£24,823.50 full-time equivalent)
Base Salary:Right to work in the UKIn accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencing employment.
