We are seeking an experienced ISVA to join our specialist service supporting survivors of sexual violence across Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

This is a frontline role providing trauma-informed, survivor-centred support to individuals navigating the Criminal Justice System and wider recovery journey. You will hold a caseload, provide advocacy and practical support, and work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure coordinated support for survivors.

About the Organisation

Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN) is a specialist service supporting women and girls aged 13+ who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives. Our specialist services include; Counselling, Helpline, ISVA and Trauma Informed Group Work.

Key Facts

Salary:                  NJC 23-25 £34,434-£36,363  per anum (pro rata for part time employees).

Appointment typically made at the lower end of the scale.

Hours of work:      Up to 28 hours per week to be worked flexibly as agreed.

Location:                Hybrid. Minimum of one day per week in our Newcastle City Centre office.

Duration:                Fixed term until 31 March 2028 (subject to funding beyond this date).
