Insurance Apprentice
We are looking for an Insurance Apprentice to join SEIB in our Colchester office. Excellent benefits and support to obtain a Level 3 Certificate in Insurance.
Salary: Circa £20,000.00
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Duration: Fixed Term Contract - up to 18 months

About the role
WRS Insurance, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Insurance Apprentice to join our Colchester office.
As an Insurance Apprentice, you will provide exceptional administrative support to the team, delivering high levels of service to brokers and customer; whilst learning the job, building knowledge and skills to gain a Level 3 Certificate in Insurance, and preparing for going out into the workplace.

What you'll be doing

Provide excellent customer service by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, and underwriters.

Manage policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, queries, and other insurance administration accurately and efficiently.

Help secure and retain business by identifying suitable and cost-effective insurance solutions for clients.

Support new business activities, including preparing quotations and ensuring all required documentation is completed.

Work in line with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer service standards while achieving individual and team objectives.
What you'll need to have

Minimum Grade 4 (C) GCSEs in English and Mathematics.

Eager to learn and develop new skills through workplace experience and apprenticeship training.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and good IT skills.

Professional, reliable, and committed, consistently demonstrating company values.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide excellent support to colleagues and customers.
