At Dementia UK, we make sure families affected by dementia don’t face it alone. Through our specialist Admiral Nurses, we provide expert advice and support when it’s needed most. Our Insights and Evaluation team plays a key role in understanding the impact of this work through robust data and evidence.
We are looking for an Insights and Evaluation Analyst with a strong background in working with quantitative data to join us on a fixed term basis. This is a data-focused role, suited to someone who is confident handling large datasets, enjoys detailed analysis and is comfortable working independently with data.
You will be experienced in using Excel to clean, manipulate and analyse data, and confident extracting information from databases and survey tools. You will be used to working with structured data, producing accurate outputs and maintaining high standards of data quality. Experience of creating dashboards or visual outputs, for example using Power BI, would be beneficial.
A key part of the role is turning data into insight. You will need to interpret findings, identify patterns and present them clearly to non-technical audiences. This includes supporting reporting for services and working closely with colleagues to ensure data is understood and used effectively.
This role is best suited to someone with experience in a research, evaluation or data analysis environment, who is comfortable working with quantitative data on a day-to-day basis. It is not a generalist role, and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with data independently.
You will also work closely with Insights and Evaluation Advisors, supporting analysis and helping ensure data is accurate, meaningful and accessible across the organisation.
Above all, you will be motivated by using data to understand impact and improve how Dementia UK supports families affected by dementia.
If you would like to find out more about the role, or have any queries, please get in touch with recruitment@dementiauk.org.
