We are looking for a passionate Individual Giving Fundraiser to join our incredible fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver donor engagement campaigns that inspire our supporters to give, ensuring Dorothy House can continue providing life-changing care to our community.

As part of our ambitious Fundraising Team, you will be responsible for the development, delivery and growth of our individual giving portfolio, including cash appeals, regular giving, digital fundraising, in‑memory giving and our hospice lottery.

INDIVIDUAL GIVING FUNDRAISER | £34,000 - £39,000 per annum

You will take a strategic, data-led approach to supporter engagement, using insight and evaluation to maximise donor retention and lifetime value. Working closely with internal teams, external suppliers and partners, you'll deliver compelling, well‑planned campaigns that inspire supporters and grow sustainable income.

Working in our fundraising team, key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the planning, development and delivery of individual giving campaigns across direct mail, digital and online channels
  • Managing and growing appeals, regular giving and in‑memory giving programmes
  • Acting as the main point of contact for our outsourced Hospice Lottery, driving performance and growth
  • Developing and delivering a digital fundraising strategy for individual giving
  • Using data, insight and reporting to monitor performance, inform decisions and optimise future activity
  • Creating effective stewardship journeys to improve supporter retention and lifetime value
  • Managing campaign schedules, budgets and working with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Working closely with the Supporter Care Team to ensure an outstanding supporter experience
  • Ensuring supporter data is accurate, compliant and well maintained within the CRM
  • Keeping up to date with fundraising regulations, legislation and best practice
  • Representing Dorothy House externally and building strong professional relationships
  • Managing and inspiring volunteers to support individual giving activity

HOURS OF WORK

This is a Full Time position working 37.5 hours a week, working Monday - Friday (0900 - 1700).
However, we do also welcome applications from those who might be looking for Part Time!

The role will be based at our Hospice in Winsley, Bradford on Avon, with hybrid working agreed.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Can demonstrate success in a previous fundraising or marketing role.
  • Holds excellent administration skills with significant analytical ability.
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of fundraising and/or the charity market.
  • A confident communicator and presenter.
  • Confident using Microsoft packages Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience working in a management or leadership role.
