We have vacancies for evening Housekeeping Assistants to join our busy, friendly and supportive housekeeping team.

The

In-Patient Unitvacancy is patient and family focused and consists of washing up patients' crockery, replenishing patient water jugs, serving teas to patients, replacing stock items and cleaning and emptying bins in the family room.

The

Office & Clinical Cleansvacancy consists of cleaning the inpatient corridor floors, therapy rooms, toilets, staff canteen and emptying offices bins.Please state on your supporting statement which of the roles you would like to apply for.

Our Housekeepers are an essential part of Phyllis Tuckwell, not only for housekeeping but for also maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere for our patients and their families. Whilst previous experience of similar work is preferred, this is not essential, and in-house training will be provided for the successful candidate.

About You
A successful Housekeeping Assistant will have:
  • The ability to support clinicians
  • A flexible and professional approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team working skills as well as the ability to work independently
  • Basic computer skills
