The Opportunity

As a Casual Hotel Receptionist, you will be part of the Front Office team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the reception at the Hilton Garden Inn. You will welcome guests, assist with enquiries and provide support throughout their stay, contributing to a positive customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming guests and responding to enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Managing check-ins, check-outs and guest requests throughout their stay
  • Maximising room occupancy and revenue through effective upselling
  • Promoting Hilton Honors and enrolling new members
  • Completing daily Front Office tasks and checklists in line with brand standards
  • Sharing guest feedback and any issues with Front Office management
  • Supporting other hotel departments when required, including taking restaurant reservations
  • Assisting with minor guest room or operational issues, particularly out of hours
  • Completing relevant training as required

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous Front Office or customer service experience, ideally within a hotel environment
  • A genuine commitment to delivering a great guest experience
  • A positive, approachable attitude with strong communication skills
  • Good organisation and administration skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to stay calm and effective in a busy environment
  • A flexible, team-focused approach and willingness to support where needed
  • Experience using hotel property management systems is desirable, with Hilton systems experience an advantage
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
