Are you passionate about providing the highest quality patient care in a friendly and supportive clinical team? If so, Nuffield Health York Hospital has the opportunity to work on our busy Elective Surgical Ward where patient safety and quality care is our priority.

If you do not already have a level 2/3 in health care then we can allocate you a place on our apprentice program and you can gain the qualification whilst working on the ward.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ideally have some surgical experience however we can provide excellent mentorship as part of your induction.

  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, and keen to embrace new ideas and developments

  • Be an excellent communicator and team worker

  • Be keen to be part of a high performing organisation

  • Have the passion and drive to provide the best clinical care

Overtime

For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
