Lead Quality and drive improvement and make every patient experience count.
Are you passionate about improving patient care? We're looking for an experienced quality leader to shape and strengthen our approach to governance, patient safety and organisational learning. In this key role, you'll help ensure we continue to provide outstanding care by embedding a culture of learning, providing assurance to senior leaders and trustees, and supporting the Hospice to meet CQC standards.
About the role
As Head of Quality, you'll lead the Hospice's quality, patient safety and clinical governance agenda, helping to ensure the highest standards of care and regulatory clinical compliance. You'll use information from incidents, complaints, audits and performance data to identify risks, drive improvements and provide assurance to senior leaders and governance committees.
Working closely with colleagues across the Hospice and external partners, you'll lead quality improvement programmes and clinical audits, promote a culture of learning, and support teams to deliver safe, compassionate and effective care. This is a varied and influential role where you'll have a real impact on patient experience and organisational performance.
About you
You'll be an experienced quality, clinical governance or patient safety professional with experience working in a Health Care setting at a senior level. You'll have a strong understanding of clinical governance, CQC regulations, patient safety and quality improvement, along with the confidence to advise senior leaders on clinical risk, assurance and regulatory compliance.
You'll be a collaborative leader who enjoys working with others to solve problems, develop people and turn insight into action. With experience of leading teams and influencing across an organisation, you'll be motivated by making services safer and better for patients and families.
