The vacancy

As Head of Collaborative Improvement Services you will:

  • Lead the design and delivery of Q’s portfolio of commissioned projects working across service design, systems change and improvement approaches to address complex health and care challenges

  • Identify new opportunities to grow Q’s services portfolio through building partnerships, scoping products and services to secure funding

  • Build and develop project teams bringing together services, associates and partners to deliver high quality work

  • Promote Q’s services and learning through events, publications and thought leadership leading the development of high quality tools insights and practical resources that support collaborative improvement across health and care

 
 About you  

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Bring expertise in systems change, improvement and facilitation with the ability to engage diverse and senior stakeholders around complex challenges

  • Have a successful track record of building partnerships and securing funded opportunities that deliver both impact and sustainable incomes.

  • Have experience of leading complex change programmes that create sustainable improvement

  • Enjoy leading and developing teams by creating a collaborative culture that supports continuous improvement

  • Champion equity, diversity and inclusion, embedding inclusive practice in your leadership, partnerships and delivery.

About Q 

Q is a membership community collaboratively accelerating the improvement of care in the UK and Ireland. We learn together, support each other and share insights to address health system challenges. And we provide a range of paid for services that draw on our expertise in improvement, innovation and transformation to help deliver sustainable change in health care organisations and systems. We operate as a distinct unit within the NHS Alliance, working in active partnership with the wider organisation, with a view to potential increased integration during 2026 and beyond.
