Salary: £20,132.89 per annum

Millfield Prep School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 from 1 September 2026. Working closely with class teachers and our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), you will play an important role in supporting the pupil's learning, wellbeing and development, helping them to access all aspects of school life and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will provide both individual and small-group support, assist with learning activities, promote positive behaviour, and work collaboratively with teaching staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The role may also involve supporting interventions, supervising pupils during duties, and assisting the wider school community as required.
We are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with children and adults alike. You will be an effective team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people. Experience of supporting children with special educational needs, emotional regulation or communication needs would be an advantage.
This is a fixed-term position commencing on 1 September 2026, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.45pm, term time only. The role will be reviewed annually and offers a salary of £20,132.89 per annum.

MILLFIELD Enterprises Temporary JOB VACANCIES
Millfield Enterprises is the commercial arm of Millfield School. We recruit temporary staff aged 18 or over, who are eligible to work in the UK, to support a variety of Millfield Enterprises holiday courses. Roles include pastoral and locum duties, as well as sports coaching positions.
