Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer serves within the Global Marketing & Events department and reports directly to the Director of Design. This role is responsible for developing and executing high-quality visual design that advances Biblica’s global marketing, fundraising, and ministry communication efforts. The Graphic Designer partners closely with the Director of Design and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual storytelling across print, digital, and experiential channels.

The Graphic Designer contributes to both concept development and execution, ensuring all creative output aligns with Biblica’s brand standards while elevating the overall quality and effectiveness of visual communications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Director of Design and Global Marketing leaders to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that support fundraising, donor engagement, and ministry initiatives.
  • Maintains the design and production of a wide range of deliverables, including campaign assets, proposals, reports, presentations, digital experiences, and events.
  • Translates strategic briefs into compelling visuals that resonate with global
  • Ensures brand consistency and visual excellence, while also contributing to the evolution of Biblica’s visual identity.
  • Develops and maintains scalable design systems, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency across teams.
  • Partners cross-functionally with marketing, content, and event teams to align creative with goals and performance objectives.
  • Prepares and oversees final files for print and digital distribution, including vendor coordination and quality control.
  • Contributes to digital design initiatives, including web layouts, landing pages, and user experience considerations.
  • Presents design concepts and incorporates feedback from stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
  • Participates in creative reviews and contributes ideas that raise the overall standard of design output.
  • Regularly participate in daily prayer and Staff Gatherings.
  • Other duties as required.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with web and UI/UX design
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar).
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience designing for nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven
  • Understanding of digital marketing assets, including email, social, and landing pages.
  • Experience with template systems and scalable design

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • 1–3 years of professional design experience (internship or freelance experience acceptable).
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and a range of project types

Competencies:

  • Graphic Design Software: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and CorelDRAW.
  • Image Editing: Skilled in retouching, color correction, compositing, and image
  • Layout Design: Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, grid systems, typography, and white space.
  • Motion Graphic Design: Produces animated visuals and dynamic content using After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Salary/Hours/Benefits:

  • Full-Time - 40 hours per week
  • Grade 200
  • Salary range: $45,000 - $57,000 (Determined by qualifications/experience)
