Millfield Enterprises is seeking a highly organised, proactive and customer-focused Events & Courses Co‑ordinator to support the planning and delivery of our diverse and growing portfolio of events, courses and camps.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the heart of a busy, commercial events operation within one of the UK’s leading independent schools. This role has become available due to internal progression, reflecting the opportunities for development within the team.
The Role
As Events & Courses Co‑ordinator, you will play a key role in the planning, sales, and delivery of residential and non-residential programmes. Acting as second-in-command to the Senior Events & Courses Manager, you will ensure high standards of customer experience, operational excellence and commercial success.
You will also take on responsibilities as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), supporting a strong safeguarding culture across all activity (training provided).
Key Responsibilities
- 📅 Coordinate and deliver a wide range of events, courses and camps
- 👥 Act as a lead operational contact for assigned programmes, including on-site delivery
- 🗂️ Plan logistics including facilities, staffing, timetables and programme schedules
- 📈 Support sales activity, respond to enquiries and help convert bookings
- 🤝 Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients and partners
- 💻 Maintain accurate systems, records and reporting
- 🔄 Deputise for the Senior Events & Courses Manager when required
- 🛡️ Support safeguarding, health & safety and compliance across all activities

Additional Information
- Flexibility is essential, including evenings, weekends during school holiday periods
- This role includes DDSL responsibilities (training provided)
- The position is subject to satisfactory safeguarding checks including Enhanced DBS clearance

Hours of work
This is a full-time, year-round role working 35 hours per week on a rota basis.
- During peak periods (including school holidays), flexibility is required, with evening and weekend working
- During term time, working patterns are typically Monday to Friday, with shifts of:
- 8.30am – 4.00pm
- 10.00am – 5.30pm

MILLFIELD Enterprises Temporary JOB VACANCIES
Millfield Enterprises is the commercial arm of Millfield School. We recruit temporary staff aged 18 or over, who are eligible to work in the UK, to support a variety of Millfield Enterprises holiday courses. Roles include pastoral and locum duties, as well as sports coaching positions.
