Furniture Shop Volunteer
Time Commitment: Regular commitment, agreed with the Furniture Shop Manager
Location: Brimscombe, Stroud
Could you spare some time to help our furniture shop raise vital funds for Longfield Community Hospice? We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic Furniture Shop Volunteers to support the day-to-day running of our furniture charity shop, clearance shop and donation hub.
In this role, you’ll welcome customers and donors, help process donations, create attractive displays of furniture and homeware, and keep the shop looking clean, safe and inviting. Depending on your interests and training, you may also assist with sales transactions and stock replenishment. Every item you help sell contributes directly to the care and support we provide to local people living with life-limiting illnesses.
This role is flexible, with a regular commitment agreed to suit you and the needs of the shop. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, has good communication skills, is physically able to help move furniture when needed, and would like to be part of a friendly, supportive retail team. Full training is provided, so no previous retail experience is necessary.
