Furniture Centre Assistant Manager

Permanent / Part Time

20 hours per week / 11am–3pm, Tuesday to Saturday

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated person to help us run our new Furniture Centre warehouse shop.

You will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Furniture Centre and work with the full-time manager to ensure the shop operates effectively to achieve its maximum trading potential.

Typical activities will include, moving and handling furniture, arranging displays, assisting customers, operating the till and computer system, maintaining housekeeping standards and supporting the collection and delivery process for donated and sold goods.

You will be a good communicator, with excellent customer service skills and will work to foster good working relations with our logistics company regarding collections and deliveries and the Furniture Centre team.
