Fundraising Operations Assistant (Bilingual)

Movember Campaign Support: | 1st September - 17 December 2026 | Annual Salary: (pro-rata for the duration of the assignment) CA$52,000

Men are dying too young - and it doesn’t have to be that way.

Every project, every campaign, every idea adds up to real change. You’ll be part of a mustache-powered crew who believe making an impact and having fun should go hand in hand. Your mission is calling.

DO GOOD. Work for Movember.

Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):

You'll be the beating heart of the Movember campaign in Canada, and the reason our community feels genuinely looked after when it matters most. As part of the Oppies crew, a vibrant, high-energy team that powers the campaign from September through to December, you'll be the first voice people hear when they reach out: across phone, email, SMS and live chat. You'll process donations, support gift matching, manage our social media inboxes and fundraising pages, and keep a sharp eye out for anything on the website that needs escalating.

Beyond the inbox, you'll get stuck into research, outreach and data management, assist with post-campaign thanking, and show up at local events to give our fundraisers the kind of experience that keeps them coming back year after year. This role reports into the Senior Manager, Stewardship and Operations, and sits right at the coal face of the campaign.

This is a fixed-term, full-time role available in Toronto or Montreal. It's fast-paced, people-first, and genuinely at the centre of one of the world's most recognisable men's health movements. If you thrive in a busy environment, love connecting with people, and want your work to actually mean something, this one's for you.

No Moustache Required -  but the following are:

  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken), essential for serving our bilingual Canadian community

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with people at all levels, inside and outside the organisation

  • Proven customer service experience and a genuine passion for delivering something remarkable

  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise when everything feels urgent

  • Comfort working at pace and under pressure, with sharp attention to detail and accuracy

  • A collaborative team player who also brings self-motivation and initiative to everything they do

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when the campaign demands it

Not Mission Critical - but for extra bonus points:

  • Experience in a fundraising environment, whether professionally or through running your own campaign

  • A track record of handling last-minute curveballs with calm and adaptability

GOOD CREW:

Boy, do we know the feeling of being judged. (Over how we look, and other things that shouldn’t matter.) Being different is how we started. And it’s also helped us raise $1 billion for men’s health. So, we know the power of diverse experiences, skills and perspectives.

Movember is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community and workplace - a place where we can all be ourselves, and each have the equal opportunity to succeed and be recognised for our unique contribution. We value the experiences, skills and perspectives of all individuals and actively encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds. We make recruitment decisions based on applicants’ skills, experience, and knowledge, ensuring all applicants are treated fairly. Reasonable accommodations are also available on request for differently abled candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.

A quick note on AI We use our AI mate

Joel to help with the first stage of screening. It lets more great candidates move past the application stage and into the process faster. Don’t worry though, real humans make all the final decisions. And if you’d rather skip Joel and chat with a recruiter instead, you’ll always have that option.

Do you want to DO GOOD?
If so, we’d love to hear from you.
