About the role

Change Mental Health is looking for a Fundraiser to support delivery of the fundraising strategy with a focus on Community Fundraising, Individual Giving and Corporate Partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with supporters, partners and businesses while growing income through events, campaigns, and supporter-led activities. Ensure a positive and engaging supporter experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Community & supporter engagement:You’ll build and maintain relationships with individual fundraisers, volunteers, community groups, schools and local businesses, identifying and acting on new opportunities for support.
  • Events & activities:You’ll support the planning and delivery of events and challenges, helping to grow participation and income while creating positive supporter experiences.
  • Corporate fundraising:You’ll manage existing corporate relationships and develop new partnerships.
  • Volunteers:You’ll recruit and support volunteers, helping to create a positive and engaging experience.
  • Data & reporting:You’ll maintain accurate records across CRM systems (Donorfy, Monday.com), support reporting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with GDPR.
  • Collaboration:You’ll work closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and the wider organisation, and represent the charity at events and meetings.

Essential criteria

  • You’ll have proven fundraising experience with a track record of generating income

  • You’ll be confident working independently and managing competing priorities

  • You’ll be skilled in building relationships and communicating effectively

  • You’ll have strong organisational skills and good financial awareness

  • You’ll be confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

  • You’ll understand supporter care, GDPR and fundraising regulations

  • You’ll hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car
  • You’ll have strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach
