We are looking for an outgoing, proactive and motivated fundraising professional to join our team at Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind. You will play a key role in helping us generate vital income, build relationships and grow support for our services across the region.
About the role
We are looking for an outgoing, proactive individual who enjoys working as part of a team and on their own initiative. Working within the Community is required and the post holder will have the ability to build relationships, be creative, and able to work at a fast pace along with being flexible.
Our ideal candidate would be approachable, supportive and ready to hit the ground running.
To support the Fundraising team in increasing fundraising income by providing first class stewardship, organising and promoting challenges and events and coordinating a team of Community Fundraising Volunteers.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to provide the above functions both digitally and in person.
Key responsibilities
- Support community and corporate fundraising activity.
- To assist with fundraising events, campaigns, supporter engagement and networking events.
- To respond to enquiries from supporters, volunteers, fundraisers and members of the public by phone, email, post and in person.
- To support donor stewardship and relationship building with supporters and partners.
- To assist with social media and promotional activity relating to fundraising campaigns and opportunities
- To support the development and maintenance of relationships with current and prospective corporate partners.
- To assist with securing donations, sponsorships, fundraising participants and corporate support

Essential requirements
- Supporting fundraising activities in a voluntary or paid capacity.
- Administrative support and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards people experiencing mental health challenges.
- Computer literate, including experience using databases, CRM systems, and social media.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using Canva to create engaging fundraising graphics, social media content, and promotional materials.
- Car driver with access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire where required.

You will be required to have appropriate business insurance on your vehicle to enable you to travel across Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire as part of the requirements of this role
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
