Quo Vadis Trust is an award-winning specialist housing charity operating in Southeast London. It provides a service to adults at risk living with mental health needs and who require support with their housing, providing a home to over 200 clients. The range of support both on and off the premises helps each client to maximise their independence.

The purpose of QVT is to Support Recovery, Maximise Independence and Build Community.
We are looking for an efficient Finance Reporting Analyst who will join the Finance Team.

About the role:

Role Purpose

To deliver a combined finance, reporting, and tenancy administration function that ensures accurate housing benefit and service charge management, supports operational decisionmaking, and provides insights for strategic planning to strengthen tenancy sustainment.

Finance & Accounting

• Post daily bank transactions and allocate customer receipts and supplier payments accurately in Sage.

• Process and record supplier invoices, ensuring approvals and audit compliance.

Manage Housing Benefit (HB) and Service Charge (SC) processing, including client moves, exemptions, and council-specific adjustments.

• Allocate and reconcile payments from councils, clients, and care homes; resolve discrepancies and monitor arrears.

• Track cash flow across schemes, ensuring accurate income reporting.

• Support monthly reconciliations, accounts, cash flow forecasts, and budget monitoring.

Collate and submit monthly utility meter readings.

Process write-offs and maintain accurate records of income streams.

Reporting & Analysis

• Produce weekly occupancy and void reports; identify risks and highlight income impact.

Generate monthly service charge, arrears, and debtors’ reports, tracking high-risk accounts.

• Translate financial and occupancy data into actionable insights for management.

• Analyse HB delays, council discrepancies, and payment trends to recommend operational improvements.

Tenancy & Benefits Administration

Prepare and issue new client documentation (agreements, authorisations, direct debits, checklists, consent forms).

Manage client onboarding, internal transfers, and changes in circumstances.

• Draft and issue termination notices and letters.

Submit and track Housing Benefit applications, dual claims, and adjustments via council portals.

• Complete Supporting Exempt Accommodation (SEA) forms and maintain full audit trails.

Support Senior Leadership

• Deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial and occupancy reports.

• Present insights on arrears, occupancy, cash flow, and service charge performance.

Highlight financial/operational risks and recommend actions.

Collaborate with housing officers, managers, and external stakeholders to align finance and tenancy processes.

• Consolidate weekly payroll sheets, calculate hours, and support payroll processing.
