Overall, the team helps the organisation trust its numbers, manage risk, and make good financial decisions. The team sits within Finance and Performance directorate. This directorate is responsible for making strategy a reality by aligning planning, prioritising, and resources; reporting on key metrics, contracts, and finances; and advising on operational, financial, and contractual adjustments. It supports the organisation in making informed, commercially smart, and sustainable decisions. About the role The Finance Processing Analyst will focus on the Purchase and Sales Ledgers, working in the Transactions team to ensure that our customers and suppliers receive timely service and a positive experience. You’ll process invoices, review staff expense claims (in accordance with Teach First’s expenses policy), and handle Payment Request Form payments for one-off suppliers. You’ll also monitoring and respond to queries in the shared mailboxes, create new supplier accounts. You may need to support accounts receivable by raising customer and donor invoices in accordance with IRFs (Invoice Request Forms) In this role you will: • Communicate with internal and external customers on accounts receivable queries, policies and credit collection. • Ensure that invoices and expenses are appropriately logged on the Finance system (MS Dynamics Great Plains). • Process purchase ledger invoices and dealing with supplier queries. • Assist with Credit Control processes, drafting verbal and written communications for external customers. • File and administration of accounts payable and accounts receivable correspondence. • Create customer invoices in line with promised donation from partner organisations as requested by the Fundraising team in the form of IRFs (Invoice Request Forms). • Support and assist with other tasks as reasonably requested by the Finance Transactions Manager. • Take shared responsibility of managing the Accounts Payable mailbox • Process supplier invoices onto the Finance System • Review, log and create upload files for Payment Request Forms received, in line with our payment run schedule. You will report into: Finance Processing Manager You will work closely with: • Finance Processing Manager • Accounts Payable and Receivable colleagues • Financial Accountant About you To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience: • Customer service - Ability to liaise with clients and customers to seek payment for the organisation. • Communication - Good oral and written communication skills. • Attention to Detail - Accuracy and good eye for details. • Administration – The ability to provide administrative support for the team to help them perform to their best.
